Solid cast end with standard 5/8"-27 threads.  Die-cast zinc clutch locks stand height in place from 34-60".  Internal "counter clutch" mechanism holds upper shaft in place until desired height adjustments are made.  Rugged black powder-coat finish.  Solid 10" diameter die-cast base with rubber padding for reduced floor vibrations.
